Founded on over a decade of financial services experience at top-tier investment banks, Tokenomik Inc was the result of a need in the crypto industry to bring bulge-bracket investment bank level financial & fundamental analysis and advice to token structuring (tokenomics), private round sale process and ongoing strategic development activities of new crypto projects.

Tokenomik started life as a blockchain project incubator and managing a venture capital fund, to bring fast and committed capital support new deals.

Tokenomik also turns to its current LPs who are active investment bankers in the traditional finance space, giving our portfolio projects access to traditional partners/ clients, in addition to Tokenomik’s extensive crypto-centric network.

Our Business Focus

Tokenomik’s pursues business opportunities in three main areas:

Incubation - Our key personnel advise entrepreneurs on best practice to take a good idea from concept to operating enterprise, including corporate structuring, business planning and development, capital raise and corporate outreach. We specialise in launching web3/ blockchain projects, as well as traditional business models.

Investment - through our 3rd party investor venture capital fund, we can act as lead investor, bringing credibility to new deals through our respected due diligence process and showing commitment through capital allocation.

Strategic Business - pursuing business as principal in industries where Tokenomik and its personnel holds special competencies and connections. We are focussed on opportunities involving agri-tech, carbon credit production and trading, green project lending and social good projects.

The Founder

Tokenomik was founded by Michael Swan, who has over a decade of experience working in top-tier investment banks, originally in custodial funds platform at Macquarie, and most recently a Vice President in business selection at Goldman Sachs.

Michael stepped into blockchain in 2019, making a venture capital investment in PAC Blockchain, an Adelaide-based blockchain developer.  

Early career experience also included co-founding Communis Pty Ltd in 2000; a cloud-based document control management system for the mining and natural resources sector and Strike Capital in 2010; a forex prop trading SPV, focused on the overnight roll interest differential on the AUDUSD pair for the 2010-2012 period. Check out Michael's LinkedIn profile here.
